Japanese WWII type Twin 13.2mm Hotchkiss Machine Gun on Rotating Deck Mount. I would love to scratchbuild this boat along with adding this ubiquitous weapon to my other colonial ship projects which right now include a small coast defense battleship, a one-big-gun-style Russian ocean-going gunboat, one large and one small torpedo boats, plus the hulls set aside for two large riverine gunboats for Indochine as well. 303 cal Hotchkiss Portable Machine Gun Mk I Parts Set. I've a photo of a French gunboat on the Mekong circa 1887 armed with two of these weapons in crow's nests side by side. It just baffles me, as this weapon was essentially standard fit for many a warship during the period, sometimes as many as a half dozen or more for a large ocean-going gunboat or unprotected cruiser. Today's production standards as exhibited by so many manufacturers just make this continuing omission inexcusable IMHO. Houston's was the only one I've ever seen, and with all due respect to Richard (whom I did business with for several years back when he ran Houston's Ships/Lyzard's Grin, and whose gunboat models sold through TVAG are to die for!) it was a bit rough around the edges even then
